KIA DURBAN SOUTH SCOOPS THREE TOP DEALERSHIP AWARDS
KIA Durban South, located at 24 Rosslyn Road, eManzimtoti, is celebrating three major award wins that have positioned the eManzimtoti-based business as one of the leading Kia dealerships in the world.
In July this year, Kia Durban South won the Global Top Dealer Award (from Kia headoffice in Korea) for being one of the top 20 Kia dealers worldwide. It is the first Kia dealer in South Africa to win this highly prestigious global award, which was presented at the Fifa World Cup 2018 in Russia.
Here on home soil, Kia Durban won two top local awards: overall Dealer of the Year and Top Sales in category B.
Speaking at the awards function, Gary Scott, CEO of Kia South Africa explained that the awards "recognize and reward excellent performance by teams and individuals as part of the Kia culture".
"The winner of the overall Dealer of the Year was calculated based on the combined scores of sales, after-sales CSI and parts purchasing," he added, before describing Kia Durban South as "long-term partner, with a Kia faculty that reflects the Kia brand's values. The owner and his team have proven to be passionate brand ambassadors over the years".
Discussing the dealerships success and wins, dealer principal Mohammed Akoob said it was a proud moment for the whole Kia Durban South team and represented six years of substantial investment and hard work.
"This is a family business - and that sense of family extends throughout the business and is evident in the sterling after-sales service that Kia Durban South delivers to our customers," explained Akoob.
